Financing Your New Home services
When you are ready to buy a new home, you may need to finance it. The process of buying a new home can be overwhelming and confusing. We want to make your experience as stress-free as possible. That's why we've partnered with Mortgage Choice, Australia's leading mortgage broker network, to help you find the right home loan for your needs.
Our team will work with you from start to finish, ensuring that each step of your journey is supported by our expertise in this area.
We understand the importance of having someone on your side who has a vested interest in making sure that everything works out — not just for you but also for us too. Our job does not end when we hand over the keys — it ends when you're happy!
We are here for you every step of the way — from helping you find the right loan through to helping with aftercare service should there be any issues down the track.
If you've found a home and want to buy it, you'll need to finance the purchase. You may get help from your friends and family or be able to borrow money from your bank or credit union. But if you're not ready for a mortgage loan, there are other options.
Getting Financing for Your New Home
You may be able to get financing through the seller. The seller may offer a low interest rate on a "seller-financed" loan, but it will be up to you to find someone who will lend you money at this rate.
Another way is through a land contract. With this type of agreement, the seller sells the house but takes back a lien (security interest) on it until all payments are made. Then he releases his claim on the property and gives you clear title — ownership without any liens or mortgages attached.
Borrowing Against Your Home Equity
Another option is borrowing against your home equity — what your house is worth minus what's owed on the mortgage. If you have enough equity, you could use it as collateral for a home equity loan or line of credit from most banks and other financial institutions that offer these types of products.
